Q. Who should I call if I have a problem?
A. Call the Campground Manager at 269-857-5000.

 

 

Q. Can I drive my ATV, UTV, or Side-by-Side through the Campground?
A. While we allow guests to drive their vehicles from their site to the County roads or nearby State trailhead, we do not allow guests to drive around the Campground for safety reasons and to reduce noise.

 

Q. What is the speed limit within the campground?
A. 5 MPH. Please obey the speed limit for the safety of all campers and their children.

 

Q: What is the cost for our Summer Live Music Saturdays?
A. Our Summer Live Music Saturdays are FREE to all Manton Trails RV Park, Hotel & Campground Guests and are held most Saturdays between the 4th of July and Labor Day weekends from 7-10 pm. Please see our website’s “Things to Do” page and specifically the “Musical Entertainment” Tab

 

Q. Can we bring our boat or personal watercraft with us?
A. Yes, there are many all-sports lakes nearby. You can leave the watercraft in the parking area on the North side of the RV Park. Boats & PWCs are not allowed on RV sites.

 

Q. Are pit bulls, rottweilers or aggressive dogs welcome?
A No. Please see our pet policy for complete details. Pets must always be kept on a leash. Limit 2 dogs per site. Dogs must be picked up after! Pets are not to be tied outside of your RV when you are not there and are not to be left unattended at any time. No ground tie-downs permitted. If any pet demonstrates aggressive behavior toward another pet or camper, you will be leaving the property. No excessive barking. The pet fee is $10/pet for the length of your stay.

 

Q. Are we allowed to have a campfire on our campsite?
A. Yes, please help save our grass by locating the fire ring on a spot where a campfire has already burned.

 

Q. Can I bring my own firewood into the campground?
A. Yes, but only if it came from within Wexford County. These measures are required by law to prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer in Northern Michigan.

 

Q. Is it O.K. to ride bikes after dark?
A. For your safety and the safety of other campers we ask that bikes or other riding toys not be used after dark.

 

Q. Are you strict about your 9 pm quiet hour rules?
A. Yes, children and teens MUST be back at their campsites by 8:30 p.m. We insist that music is off and voices are kept low after 9 pm.

 

Q. Can my dog go into the restroom/recreation buildings with me?
A. Dogs are not permitted in the buildings.

 

Q. Can I take my dog on the beach or in the pond?
A. NO

 

Q. Is it O.K. if I wash my dishes in the bathroom sink?
A. We do keep the bathhouse extremely clean, but dishwashing is NOT permitted in the bathrooms.

 

Q. Do you mind if campers go into the bathroom and shower building to rinse off beach sand in the sinks or showers?
A. Please help us keep the bathrooms clean by rinsing them off before entering the bathhouse.

 

Q. Do you care if campers leave cans, bottles, and trash on the ground?
A. Please help us to keep the campground looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy, and dispose of trash properly in the dumpster on the North side of the property.
